The Pleasure Seekers

Tishani Doshi

In many ways, this is an old fashioned family saga – the difference being a mixed race family living in India. Indian Babo and Welsh Sian are a very attractive couple and their story of adaptation is heart-warming and strong on atmosphere of day to day Indian life. You may find the teenage exploits of the younger generation a bit tedious, as I did, but inspite of this, well worth the read.
