A warm love story with an unusual and honest heroine who is both recognizable and believable. Also features a grumpy, impossible but still rather lovable old dad as well as a fabulous older sister, a swimming dog AND a dose of Bruce Springsteen. Makes a good case for living and enjoying life when you can! Found it hard to put down and wished for more.
