Lamb by Bonnie Nadzam

Lamb

Bonnie Nadzam

An unusual and unsettling story of the relationship between a middle aged man and an eleven year old girl. Although the plot is, at times, meandering, the author manages to keep the tension high and the reader is constantly disturbed about the likely outcome. The main characters are very convincing, the minor ones less so. But all in all, an accomplished debut novel.
