Married at 16, Mandy expects to spend her life in a Yorkshire mining village. But it's 1984 and everything is about to change, and not just because 'best friend', the wily Ruth, has come back to Fenley. Characters you can believe in and a credible plot make this a really engaging read. Plus I can't wait for the film.
