Told by four teenagers, especially Eve, growing up in a shantytown in Mauritius, this is nothing less than a beautifully written, complete tragedy in which the power of love proves ultimately powerless. Perhaps most frighteningly, despite the violent deeds, there are no real villains. Beyond thought- provoking.
