Everything you suspected but didn't need to know about the world of commercials. Peopled with stereotypes, a lively mix of life's winners and losers, this is a book you will love - and immediately forget. Not great literature but great fun!

I'd written a TV commercial. It was all my own work and I don't think I'm being unreasonably boastful if I tell you it was very good ....
Client saw the script. Client liked it. Client said he'd be more than happy to stump up several shedloads of money to shoot it. At that stage I could have cast two unknowns but I didn't. I got ideas above my station and reached for the bloody stars.
