An oddly dressed middle-aged man was standing over him, shaking his head in disbelief. He had over-large sideburns and greying hair and the collar of his bright orange shirt was slightly too wide as were the flares on his beige safari-suit trousers. He looked for all the world like the male lead from one of the faintly smutty '70s Britcoms which Adam had wasted his formative years watching. The man had a misty surreal quality about him. Adam felt sure he could see the sky through his hazy form. And that voice ....
