White Trash by John King

White Trash

John King

This book does not have the warm encompassing feeling that Holby City gives the watcher though some of the themes are the same. The darker side of our health service is uncovered through peoples' feelings and beliefs. It does leave one with unresolved feelings of right and wrong.

She really believed he was going to go home, and yet what Mr. Jeffreys was saying was right, the same as Sally and Dawn were right, it was just being stupid, getting too attached when she should protect herself. She had to get on with things, life continued, and there was always work to do, jobs that would make her think about something else till the reality settled in and she was able to accept what had happened.
