The Big Snow by David Park

The Big Snow

David Park

A collection of short stories set in Ireland and connected by a heavy fall of snow - the final story carries elements occurring in earlier stories and rounds the book off. It conveys an isolated 'cut-off' feel of being suspended in time by the weather. So beautifully written that I read the first story out loud to savour the language used by the author.
