Sex, drugs and bust-ups, I was tempted to give up after the first chapter. Don't. I enjoyed the mixture of this adventure and funny thriller set on Ibiza. The serious moments and the search for happiness swept me along. I now know what this island's heady atmosphere is all about!

But how many people actually do get run over by a bus? I've always simply interpreted it as being true to yourself. Do what you want to do and what makes you happy. If you can temper that by treating those around you as you would like to be treated, then in my opinion that's not a bad way to live your life and it's pretty much how I've lived mine. I'm no angel - in fact I've been a right bastard at times - but if there is a God up there, then I reckon I've got an even chance of getting to heaven.
