A real page turner, set in Medieval France and the present day. I thought at first that the modern stuff wasn't as well done as the medieval but it got better as you got more involved with the modern characters. If you liked The da Vinci Code, then read this for an ordinary person's introduction to what the Albigensian heresy was all about. If the Dan Brown was not your cup of tea, then read this for a beautifully painted, atmospheric picture of medieval southern France. It reads like a tapestry.
