If you are into surrealism and Welsh politics this is the book for you. It looks at politics and Wales in a wryly humorous way, faintly reminiscent of Gulliver’s Travels. I found it a little hard to get into but then it grew on me and I found myself smiling. Definitely different.

He walked into town along toy like streets, past row upon row of houses. He would turn a corner and walk along another row of houses. It is not possible to describe the towns of south Wales without using the words ‘brown’ and ‘grey’. The people are grey, their clothes are brown. The mountains are brown, the sky is grey. The streets and pavements are grey, the cars are brown. The cats are brown, the dogs are grey (or occasionally the other way round). The birds are brown. The rain is grey, the puddles are brown.
