What a great combination of Victorian tales and modern angst. Atmospheric, almost nightmarish at times, there was a sense of fore-boding as Itchy's attempts to live with his past plunged him deeper into crisis.

This is more than deeper snow. He is tumbling into nothing. Stops with a winding slam. Hardly able to see for the snow still falling around him and on top of him. Supported for the moment in purgatory. Held in the ice between who knows what depths and the heaven he was in an instant earlier. The only thing he knows, the only thing in his head, is that he must live.
