A love match, apparently made in heaven, begins innocently enough. But when the couple set themselves god-like standards of honourable behaviour, appalling decisions are made. Albeit an old fashioned tale of stubbornness and pride this is a humorous and ultimately optimistic story. Easy to read with Perera's unfailing lightness of touch.
