The Cookbook Collector

Allegra Goodman

Which sister will you empathise with - the successful, pragmatic, dot.com internet entrepreneur; or the free spirited vegan environmentalist? This contemporary novel observes the common heartache of unresolved family issues, and boyfriend problems.
However don’t be seduced by the title - The Cookbook Collector, as this is only a minor part of the novel. Definitely a case of 'don’t judge a book by its title'.

If Alex let go of his surveillance model, his techniques could be employed in new, more improved sensitive search engines. His idea for fingerprinting could have applications for passwords. What if Veritech went into password verification? Yes! She would name Alex’s new password authentication system Verify. Emily stopped on the stairs and almost laughed. Deliberate in everything she said and did in public, she had a passion for new schemes.
